Lies We Believe About God
Tuesdays, beginning Oct 27 | 6:30 pm | Fellowship Hall
A Zoom option is also available to participate from home.
In this deeply personal, nonfiction book, WM Paul Young shares twenty-eight commonly and sometimes seemingly innocuous things we say about God. Paul exposes these as lies that keep us from having a full, loving relationship with our Creator. He encourages readers to think anew about important issues including sin, religion, hell, politics, identity, creation, human rights, and helping us discover God’s deep and abiding love. This new group will meet weekly to question, discuss and ponder in a non-threatening way. All are welcome, whether you are questioning things yourself or confident in your views – no judgments!
Other writings from WM Paul Young include The Shack, Crossroads, and Eve.

2020-21 BSF Study – Beginnings: A Study of Genesis
The first book of the Bible reveals our shared story as a single race created in God’s image. We look forward to exploring this book of “Beginnings” together, where we witness the wonder of God creating the universe, the tragedy of humanity’s fall into sin and God’ gracious redemption.
BSF is an in-depth, interdenominational Bible study that helps people know God and equips them to effectively serve the Church throughout the world.

Leadership Series: Know Your Story
Spring and Fall Sessions Offered
Have you ever found yourself wondering what on earth am I here for? Or where has God been in my life? What exactly is my faith story? Registration is limited to the first 15 participants.
Series Discussion Groups
A Series Discussion Group is a short-term small group focused on community and learning during a particular sermon series, usually 5-8 weeks. The series has a primary teaching point, and Pastor Jon & Liz use each week’s message to focus on how the Bible speaks to what we are experiencing today. Study materials for discussion through the sermon series are provided.
The next Series Discussion group will be in February/March 2021.
