Stop the Bleed Workshop
Thursday, February 21 | 6:30pm | Gathering Place
Learn how you can help save a life! No matter how rapid the arrival of professional emergency responders, bystanders will always be first on the scene. A person who is bleeding can die from blood loss within five minutes, therefore it is important to quickly stop the blood loss. This national awareness campaign, Stop the Bleed, is intended to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. All adults 14 yrs and older are encouraged to come.
Occasional workshops are offered in the area of wellness including heart attack and stroke prevention, LifeLine screening, hearing and vision impairment and more. Watch for upcoming workshops.
