High School Mission Trips

Youth enjoy independence and spending time with one another. It’s a great way for youth to do those things while serving others. At Bethany, our high school youth have options when it comes to mission trips. They can choose from our youth trips where they will serve with their peers and adult leaders, go on international trips with a parent or trusted adult, or every three years they can go to the ELCA Youth Gathering with thousands of their peers from all over the United States.

“Reframe Titletown Workcamp”
Wisconsin’s oldest settlement, Green Bay, is located at the mouth of the Fox River on the shore of Lake Michigan. The river, which has been an avenue of transportation and commerce for centuries, carves its way through the middle of the city.

Green Bay is also the smallest city to host an NFL football team. Founded in 1919, the 13-time national champion Green Bay Packers is the only NFL team to be owned by its fans.

Green Bay is home to a large population of elderly, low-income, or disabled residents, many of whom sorely need your help to remain in their homes.

Serving in Green Bay
At the Green Bay, WI Workcamp, your group will demonstrate Jesus’ love and compassion in tangible ways, serving real people in need while working on projects like…

• Building wheelchair ramps and handrails
• Weatherizing homes and trailers
• Reconstructing sagging porches
• Significant painting projects
• Interior and exterior carpentry
• Other home repair projects that the homeowner cannot otherwise complete
